The straightforward 2024+ upgrade: plug-and-play dash pods, DS18's loaded 2024 sound bar with digital LED, the 2024 T-harness kit and a compact four-channel amp.

- 1 × DS18 JP6 — plug-and-play dash speaker pods, left and right, loaded with PRO-JP6NEO 6.5" neodymium drivers, 150W RMS each (dash)
- 1 × DS18 JL24-SBAR22/BKLD — 2024–2025 overhead sound bar, loaded with 2 × 8PRO300MB-4 8" mid-bass and 2 × PRO-TWX1 3.8" tweeters, digital LED (overhead sound bar)
- 1 × DS18 JL24-SBAHKIT — 2024+ sound bar and amplifier T-harness kit with VX4HL line-output converter (radio to amplifier)
- 1 × DS18 G1000.4D — full-range Class-D 4-channel amplifier, 4 × 90W RMS at 4 ohms (amplifier)
- 1 × DS18 AKIT4 — 4-GA amplifier installation wiring kit — or upgrade to the OFCKIT4 100% OFC copper kit (wiring)
Fitment
2024–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL and JLU and Gladiator JT (Uconnect 5 radio): the dash pods replace the factory dash speaker enclosures; the 2024-specific sound bar bolts into the factory overhead location using the OEM mounting points; the JL24-SBAHKIT T-harness and line-output converter connect the amplifier to the 2024 radio. DS18 lists the JL24-SBAR22/BKLD loaded bar for 2024–2025 models.
The 2024+ radio has no amplifier outputs of its own — the included JL24-SBAHKIT T-harness connects at the radio and its VX4HL module feeds the amplifier.

RMS vs. MAX power — which number do I actually care about?
RMS is what your gear handles continuously; MAX is the short burst it can survive without complaint. Match your amplifier's RMS output to your speakers' RMS rating — sizing off the MAX number is how magic smoke gets released.
What does the IP65 rating on DS18 marine gear actually mean?
It's dust-tight and rated against low-pressure water jets from any direction — built for spray, rain, and the occasional wave over the bow, not for full submersion. If something's going somewhere it could sit underwater, that's a different conversation entirely.
How do I match an amplifier to my speakers without guessing?
Add up the RMS rating of everything the amp will power, and pick an amp whose RMS output (at your speakers' impedance — usually 4-ohm) lands close to that total. Undersized is thin sound; wildly oversized is a fast way to blow a voice coil.
Can I mix marine-grade gear into a standard car audio setup, or the reverse?
You can run marine-grade gear in a car — it's just over-built for that environment, no downside besides cost. Running non-weatherproof car audio gear in an open UTV or boat is the direction that causes problems.
What gauge wiring kit do I need?
It scales with your amp's power draw and the length of the run — DS18's OFC kits come in 4-gauge and 8-gauge for a reason. Undersized wiring on a high-draw system is a voltage-drop and heat problem waiting to happen; when in doubt, size up.
